Greater Minnesota Scholarships

Thanks to funding from the Minnesota State Arts Board, Chorus America will award 10 registration scholarships to first-time Conference attendees from greater Minnesota. The scholarships cover the cost of registration—up to a $500 value! Qualifying scholarship recipients will also receive $150 in travel assistance. The scholarship does not cover special events with an additional fee.

To apply for a Greater Minnesota scholarship, you must be eligible. Eligible scholarship recipients are:

  • Residents of greater Minnesota as defined by the Minnesota State Arts Board, meaning you live outside the seven-county Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington counties).
  • First-time Chorus America Conference attendees. (Other individuals from your organization may have attended previous Conferences, however.)

Priority consideration is given to applicants who are also basic, student, or sustaining members of Chorus America or employed by a member chorus of Chorus America. (If you are not already a member, learn more about membership and join today!)

To apply: Interested applicants should complete the brief application form below by April 23, 2012. Selected scholarship recipients will be notified no later than April 30, 2012 and provided with registration instructions (do not register before applying). Travel stipends will be disbursed onsite at the Conference.
