The Chorus Management Institute (CMI) is a three-day intensive workshop that gives participants tools, strategies, and a professional network they can put to immediate use.
Attendees work with expert faculty members in interactive, practical seminars on strategic thinking and planning, governance and board development, communications and marketing, and fundraising. Working in teams, they learn best practices from seasoned choir leaders and make valuable professional connections that last a lifetime.
The CMI is intended for executive and artistic directors, board members, and other staff and key choir volunteers. Registration is usually limited to about 60 participants to facilitate in-depth, interactive discussions and networking. In addition to the instruction, interaction, and networking, each CMI participant receives a wealth of useful take-away materials including a notebook filled with samples and access to additional resources online.
