Choral Education Workshop
Experience a unique professional development opportunity for K-12 choral music educators
California State Univerity, Fullerton's Choral Education Workshop is a unique professional development opportunity for current and aspiring choral music educators teaching grades K-12 and above. Highlights include singing and experiencing new repertoire from an extensive reading packet, group conducting masterclasses, and class breakout sessions addressing elementary, middle, and secondary teaching techniques and pedagogy.
This returning program combines professional development with the opportunity to sing a choral masterwork and runs concurrently with the Academy. The Workshop faculty is led by Christopher Peterson, professor of music at CSUF.
The Workshop is open to all levels of conductors and educators and requires no audition. Continuing Education Credit is available for the Choral Education Workshop through Cal State Fullerton.
