Vancouver’s renowned Elektra Women’s Choir and Artistic Director Morna Edmundson are pleased to welcome Bruce Hoffman as the choir’s new Marketing Director. Bruce brings 30 years of arts-focused marketing experience to the role, which he previously held from 2004 -2012. Bruce is embedded in the choral community as a long-time member of both Chor Leoni and the Christ Church Cathedral Choir, and is passionate about telling the story of how choral music changes lives. Past clients have included Chor Leoni, MusicFest Vancouver, pianist Jane Coop, the BC Choral Federation and more.

“I am delighted to welcome Bruce to Elektra’s team as Marketing Director,” says Morna. “We have been colleagues and friends for decades and I look forward to working together closely to further tell Elektra’s story. Bruce’s past work with Elektra means that we are welcoming back a good friend, and that’s wonderful.”

“It’s exciting to be working with Elektra and Morna once again,” says Bruce. “I’ve admired Elektra for many years and love their sound and what they stand for. I’m so looking forward to once again telling Elektra’s story to as wide an audience as possible.”

“It is very exciting to have Bruce join Elektra’s team,” adds Managing Director Bea Orbegoso. “His deep roots in Vancouver’s choral community and his legendary marketing experience with other major arts organisations make him the perfect fit to advance Elektra’s profile.”

Elektra’s next performance is At the Spring Dawn on March 10 at 3pm at Pacific Spirit United Church. The concert features works by women composers to mark International Women’s Day. Tickets are available at www.elektra.ca.
