AMERICAN VOICES with Children's Chorus of Washington

Children’s Chorus of Washington (CCW) announces its Spring Concert, American Voices, on Saturday, May 10 at 4:00 pm at National City Christian Church, 5 Thomas Circle NW, Washington, DC 20005.

 

American Voices concert features American Classics and Broadway favorites the whole family will enjoy. The program will include works by some of our country’s leading composers such as Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copland, together with traditional American songs and favorites from Broadway. The concert will feature all five of CCW’s award-winning choral ensembles, who will perform separately and together for medleys from The Sound of Music, Les Misérables and The Lion King. Playwright and director, Mary Hall Surface, a Helen Hayes award winner for outstanding director of a musical, will give the performance a magical spin.
