Patrice N. Forbes is the Senior Development & Marketing Manager for three-time nominated and two-time Grammy Award winner The Washington Chorus. As Senior Development & Marketing Manager, Patrice works closely with the Communications Manager, Donor and Patron Services Associate, and the Board’s Development Committee to design and implement targeted marketing and development plans to meet and exceed the annual budget.
With a decade of marketing and communications experience, she has had the opportunity to work within the trade association, nonprofit, and small business sectors; and her experience ranges from leading brand strategies to managing nonprofit partnerships with organizations like Make-A-WishⓇ. With over 20 years of experience in the arts & entertainment industry, she is a member of the DC Grammy Chapter, has released two albums, and has been featured as a vocalist in several musicals, television shows, and live performances at venues like the Kennedy Center and the Fillmore.
Before coming to TWC in 2022, Patrice was the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager at Elevate, a grant writing and fundraising strategy firm serving over 100 nonprofit organizations. She has also served as Marketing Manager, band leader, and client liaison for Entertainment Exchange, an award-winning corporate talent agency.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Bowie State University and has continued graduate-level coursework at the University of Virginia. She is currently in pursuit of her MBA. Outside of work, Patrice enjoys performing, traveling, attending live concerts, and spending time with her husband, children, and dog, Deacon.
