Join Us for the 2018 Conference in Chicago
Do you have big ideas for your chorus and the future of the choral field? Whether you are an artistic leader or a board member, a composer or an administrator, our Conference can connect you with the people, tools, and resources you need to make your big ideas a reality.
Knowledge You Need
Get inspired by plenary sessions featuring visionary speakers, like neurobiologist Nina Krauss, nonprofit thought leader Vu Le, and Sphinx Organization's Andre Dowell and conductor Eugene Rogers. Build your skills in hands-on breakout sessions that answer your questions on topics like fundraising strategies; copyright guidelines; community engagement and education initiatives; practices around diversity, equity, access, and inclusion; innovative programming; and more.
Connections that Work for You
Forget “networking” – our friendly atmosphere sets you up to build meaningful relationships with peers and choral leaders. Get to know your colleagues at special events or opportunities like One-on-One consultations, Peer Forums, and small-group Roundtables.
Hosted by Chicago Children's Choir and Grant Park Music Festival, the 2018 Conference features performances that showcase the Chicago choral music scene. This year, the Thursday Awards Celebration will feature a special performance by Walt Whitman's Soul Children of Chicago.
Online registration for Conference is now closed. You'll be able to register onsite once Registration opens on Wednesday, June 20.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chicago!
