The choral field is built on the leadership of seasoned professionals who have paved the way and rising leaders who continue to carve new paths forward. This plenary session features a panel of the field's rising leaders (all alumni of Chorus America’s Choral Executive Leadership Academy), who are charting a course for the future of choral leadership. Led in conversation by program mentor Andrés Holder, the panelists will discuss how they approach work-life balance, their vision for what’s ahead in choral music, and what it truly means for an organization to be ready to support a leader of color on their staff. Attendees will walk away with ideas to make their organizations more inclusive, more relevant, and a healthier workplace for their staff.
