Rachel Clark

Rachel Clark grew up in northern New Jersey and studied Music Education at the University of Delaware. After teaching in NJ public schools for 11 years with a focus on both choral and instrumental music, Rachel is now the Executive Director of Elevate Vocal Arts, where her passion for the vocal arts, education, and outreach come together. Rachel is also the Project Manager for Delaware Choral Scholars, under the direction of Dr. Paul Head, organizing and managing competitive international choral tours through the University of Delaware. Rachel is a long-time member of Harmonium Choral Society, where she manages the high school student composition contest, and proudly served on the Harmonium board for six years. As both an avid performer and traveler, Rachel has performed in 20 countries around the world. A sought-after vocalist, she is the Soprano Section Leader at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Summit, NJ, and sings locally throughout the region. 

Rachel is passionate about providing high-quality music education to all students, particularly in underserved communities, and worked in her school teaching career to provide performance opportunities in the community for students; she also created and implemented an adaptive music education class for students with autism and multiple disabilities, and facilitated a club where general and special education students made music and performed together.
