Katherine "KT" Boling

KT’s ties to the Chorus go back as far as 1996 when she joined the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus as a young singer under the direction of Jim Taylor, the Chorus’ first conductor. In her years as a member of the JCC, she enjoyed opportunities to perform at various venues around the state and country, and even in Carnegie Hall.

KT received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. After years of working in engineering, project management, quality engineering, and accounting, she returned to her passion to pursue a career in the arts. KT joined the JCC team 2015, and now manages the finance and fundraising departments as the Business and Development Manager. In addition to her main administrative role, she is also the JCC’s primary choreographer, in charge of creating and instructing all dances and choreography performed by the JCC.

KT has dedicated a large part of her life to serving Jacksonville's children and communities through the power of dance, song, and performance arts. Her love of the arts extends beyond the JCC, where she has become a professional Latin dancer, ballroom dance instructor, and even an aerialist. Beyond that, she is very involved in the community, participating in many civic, business, and networking organizations including Rotary Club of South Jacksonville (Board Member), the Professional Women’s Council with Jax Chamber (Membership Committee), and the First Coast Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals (Board Member and National Philanthropy Day Committee).
