Two new choral ensembles in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut will present their debut concert, “Requiem for the Middle Class: a brief survey of a cappella choral music for comfort.”  This preview concert  introducing Voices of Concinnity, a new vocal chamber ensemble, and Choir Matrix, a new community women’s choir, will feature the Howell’s Requiem, and the music of Bruckner, Hogan, Lotti, Daley, and more.  This performance is to benefit the Neighbor Fund, a local organization dedicated to help local people facing deporation.
