Join Rochester Oratorio Society for their 8th season of Classical Idol, Rochester’s own international professional singing competition. Professional vocal solo performers will be making their way to Rochester for two intensive days of competition, in hopes of being crowned the next Classical Idol. Semi-Finals will take place on Friday May 9th at Asbury First United Methodist Church starting at 1:00pm, and are open to the public for free. 10 finalists will be announced that night. Finalists will then perform in front of a panel of judges and the public on Saturday May 10th at Temple B’rith Kodesh. Light food, and a silent auction will start at 6:00pm , with the competition starting at 7:30pm.  Read more

Are you in a choir? Do you like to sing? Do you like choral music? Then, please join the Christ Church Cathedral Choir from Oxford who are visiting Grace Church on-the-Hill for a unique evening. An evening where you will rehearse 4 pieces with the Choir and their director, Dr Stephen Darlington, and then sing the program together.  TIME AND PLACE: 7.30pm Monday April 7, 2015 at Grace Church on-the-Hill—300 Lonsdale Road, Toronto  Why are we doing this?
