  Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia announces core and volunteer singer positions available for all voice parts for 2015-2016 season. One of this country’s oldest choruses, Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia performs choral music to create a shared transcendent experience among its singers and audiences. The innovative a cappella ensemble known as Khorikos debuts a piece from their own acclaimed competition, joining the Del Mar Master Chorus and Concert Choir and the Alice High School Honors Band for this performance at the world-famous Carnegie Hall. Famed for their cutting-edge take on everything from medieval polyphony to contemporary sound sculpture, Khorikos has performed with major U.S. and international orchestras, and is set to sing Frank La Rocca's Miserere, while the Del Mar ensemble also premieres a new work by Ross Bernhardt, along with Bob Chilcott's Canticles of Light.
