Oxford University Press launches Advent Carol Competition

Oxford University Press have launched a special choral competition, asking choirs to film themselves performing an OUP carol for the chance to win some great prizes. Performances will be judged on creativity and originality by a panel that will include world-renowned composer, John Rutter.

The prizes on offer include a set of limited-edition, hand-signed vocal scores of one of John Rutter’s earliest compositions, The Shepherd’s Pipe Carol, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and a copy of the brand new King’s Singers album ‘GOLD’ for every member of the choir.

The competition closes on Friday 8 December with runners up announced through the Oxford Choral Facebook page on 23 December, and the grand prize winners announced on 24 December.
