“We're excited to bring Chorus America's 2013 Conference to the Pacific Northwest with its robust and diverse choral community, "said Ann Meier Baker, president & CEO of Chorus America. "We look forward to our collaboration and know that they will be key in helping us build a strong program that tackles today’s challenges and opportunities.”

To mark the centenary of composer Benjamin Britten’s birth, Seattle Pro Musica, Seattle Symphony and Symphony Chorale, and Northwest Boychoir will collaborate in a keynote performance of his War Requiem at Benaroya Hall. Other choral ensembles performing during the 2013 Conference include Cappella Romana, Coastal Sound Youth Choir, Choral Arts, Elektra Women’s Choir, Northwest Girlchoir, and Opus 7.

The 2013 Conference will present a range of diverse and practical professional development sessions for chorus artistic directors, board members, chorus managers, composers, business partners, and students.
