Storytelling: The Most Powerful Form of Nonprofit Writing

The single most powerful marketing and fundraising tool your nonprofit has is both free and already in your possession -- you just may not realize it. It's telling a good story about the people involved in your organization –- the people singing, listening, volunteering and donating. During this plenary session with Nonprofit Marketing Guide's Kivi Leroux Miller, you'll learn how to tell three different kinds of stories that can serve as the foundation for your marketing and fundraising campaigns.

Personal Journeys, Collective Change

Each of us has a story to tell about what led us to choral music. This plenary session features a discussion between Maria Ellis, Reginald Mobley, and Zanaida Robles, moderated by Anthony Trecek-King. This panel of rising Black choral leaders share what inspired them to make their careers in music and discuss their multi-faceted experiences within the field. Their personal reflections and strong visions for what lies ahead explore a more inclusive, more inspiring collective future.
