Adam Reinwald is a nationally-recognized vocal chamber artist and conductor, and is in demand as a coach and clinician for developing voices. Since 2014, Adam has held the position of assistant conductor with the National Lutheran Choir, based in Minneapolis, MN, and added the title of community engagement manager in 2016. In addition to his work with the National Lutheran Choir, Adam is the Director of Traditional Music and the Chancel Choir at Wayzata Community Church, and co-founder of Beer Choir Twin Cities.
From 1998 to 2014, Adam performed internationally and across the US with the male vocal ensemble Cantus. In artistic leadership at Cantus for more than a decade, Adam led programming for an organization that Fanfare Magazine labeled “the premiere men’s vocal ensemble in the United States.” During his tenure, Cantus was awarded the 2010 Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence from Chorus America, released 17 albums on its own label, and established a unique collaborative working model for vocal chamber musicians.
Adam has appeared as soloist with The Boston Pops, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, Seattle Opera, A Prairie Home Companion, and the Oregon Bach Festival. Adam has worked as choral and vocal clinician across the US as well as in Europe and Cameroon, West Africa.
