Conference Scholarships

 
Chorus America offers general and student scholarship opportunities and is partnering with the California Arts Council and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission to provide two additional opportunities for Conference funding.

Preference will be given to first-time Conference attendees. Please see the information on the California Arts Council and Los Angeles County Arts Commissions applications for details about eligibility.    

General Scholarships
Chorus America will award five general scholarships to Chorus America members in good standing (individual or chorus organizational member). The scholarship covers the cost of registration but does not include special events with an additional fee (i.e. In-Depth Seminars).

Student Scholarships
Chorus America will award five student scholarships to first-time attending graduate or undergraduate students. The scholarship includes a student membership and covers the cost of registration but does not include special events with an additional fee (i.e. In-Depth Seminars).

Apply here for Chorus America Conference Scholarships! The deadline is Monday, March 20, 2017. Recipients will be notified before the early-bird deadline of March 31.

Regional Scholarships
California Arts Council – This year, the California Arts Council is offering California-based nonprofit arts organizations the opportunity to apply for $1,000 grants to help fund their professional development growth and leadership training for their staff, artists, and arts administrators. Los Angeles County Arts Commission
Early-bird registration is available through March 31, 2017. Nonprofit arts organizations who receive funding through the LA County Arts Commission’s Organizational Grant Program are eligible to apply for scholarship support from the Arts Commission. Please review the Arts Commission’s Professional Development Program guidelines to verify eligibility. Scholarship requests must be received by March 20, 2017 to be considered.
