Cortlandt B. (Corty) Fengler

Corty Fengler's 30-year career in philanthropy has included work both as a development officer and as a consultant. She has served as canon for development at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, as director of development for the San Francisco Symphony, and before that for the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.
Corty's work with Wellesley College was during the largest campaign a liberal arts college had mounted at that time, and she was also director of development for Westover School. She was a senior associate with John Brown Limited, a leader in the fields of planned giving and capital campaigns. As an independent consultant she has provided comprehensive management and campaign services to non-profits such as the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, and many choruses, orchestras and educational institutions. She has served on the Alumnae Board of Wellesley College and the Board of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras. She currently heads the Development Committee of Chorus America's Board, serves on the Board of Walden School, a summer music program in New Hampshire, and sings with the six-time Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
