Registration for Conducting Associates and Auditors

Mannes College The New School for Music in New York City will be an ideal setting for Associates and Auditors. Intimate rooms allow for close observation of the conductors, coaches, and musicians. The podium coaches will be using microphones to insure that they are being heard clearly for all participating fellows, associates, and auditors. The Conducting Associate position offers a great deal of interaction with the faculty and the Auditor position allows you to observe all the Masterclass events at a very reasonable rate, more details below:

Conducting Associate $350

  • Complete and submit online registration with full payment ($350) Space is limited and Conducting Associates will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Deadline: Registration must be received by Monday, February 3, 2014

Private Lesson: Each pre-registered Conducting Associate will be scheduled for a one hour lesson with a private coach. The topic/focus of the lesson will be chosen by the Associate and may include a personal video review session with pre-recorded video materials supplied by the Associate via DecisionDesk. Click here to access DecisionDesk.

Podium Session Observation: Conducting Associates will observe the Conducting Fellow podium sessions with the Podium Coaches.

Enrichment Sessions: Led by faculty members and special guests, participants will attend informative enrichment sessions on essential topics for professional development.

Auditor $250 for full session or $100 per day

  • Select preferred date(s) (Saturday, 2/15; Sunday, 2/16; Monday, 2/17)
  • Complete and submit online registration with full payment
  • Deadline: Registration must be received by Monday, February 3, 2014

Attend podium sessions as an observer and general enrichment sessions.

 
PAYMENT INFORMATION

For Conducting Fellows: Upon notification of acceptance (Friday, November 29, 2013), a deposit of $300 of the full $650 is required by December 13, 2013. Payment in full is due no later than Friday, January 17, 2014. 
A $100 administration charge will apply to Fellow cancellations made before or on Friday, January 17, 2014. After January 17, 2014, only $300 of the $650 participation fee is refundable. 
 
For Conducting Associates and Auditors:  Please send full payment with your application. A $50 administration charge will apply to Associate and Auditor cancellations made before or on Monday, February 3, 2014. After February 3, 2014, no refunds will be issued for cancellations.
