This July, sing with Cantare Con Vivo in a concert featuring great anthems from the Christian tradition.

In July, Cantare will offer a three-week non-auditioned summer choral session featuring great anthems from the Christian tradition. Cantare’s Artistic Director David Morales will join with former colleague Paul Fleckenstein, Organist/ Choir Director at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware, bringing their combined 80-plus years of church music leadership to interested singers and audience members.

The Cantare summer choir is open to non-auditioned singers. We invite community chorus and  current and former church choir singers to join forces to present this rich array of anthems that are seldom performed in today’s churches.

They will include:

He, Watching Over Israel, Felix Mendelssohn

With a Voice of Singing, Martin Shaw

Jubilate Deo, Benjamin Britten

The Majesty and Glory of Your Name, Tom Fettke

O Be Joyful, Gilbert Martin

My Eternal King, Jane Marshall

In the Year that King Uzziah Died, David McK Williams

Beautiful River, William Hawley

Savior, Again to Thy Dear Name We Raise, Robert Hebble

Ride the Chariot, William Smith
