You will experience a joyous and festive concert, starting with the traditional procession of all the ensembles in Once in Royal David’s City and a combined performance of the beloved It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Each ensemble will share its  Holiday Favorites, songs from seasons past along with a few new ones representing different genres and traditions such as Peace by Stephen Chatman, one of Canada’s  most prominent composers. The Ruckman String Quartet and the Amadeus Brass Quintet will join the singers as they carry their angelic voices to beautiful heights.

"This is our 20th Anniversary season, and this performance will be my last Holiday Concert as Founder and Artistic Director of the Children's Chorus of Washington. I have chosen my favorite songs from throughout these past 19 and a half years, including Edward Elgar's The Snow and a CCW commission from David Brunner, Sir Christemas. I am so looking forward to welcoming back alums who will join in their own selections, and the Ruckman String Quartet, who performed frequently with us in our early years," said Joan Gregoryk.
