“Hallelujah!” As promised, the ever popular oratorio by George Frideric Handel, Messiah, comes to the stage of the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts at Emory University, in its complete, original form. Experience Messiah as it was intended, straight from the composer’s quill, presented by Atlanta Sacred Chorale with professional soloists and orchestra, under the attentive direction of Dr. Eric Nelson.
Plus, before and after the concert, view a private collection of precious antique books, including original printings of Handel’s score from 1767, a King James Bible from 1611 (Messiah’s source text), and much more!
