Join us out front of the Church of the Reformation for an outside performance (weather permitting) as the Arioso Chorale and its orchestra open their season with this choral masterpiece and its message of hope.

Handel’s The Messiah is one of the most often performed oratorios in the choral literature but it never grows old and never loses the importance of its message.

This performance will feature the best and most liked arias and choruses of this work using an orchestra arrangement that includes the expanded use of winds and brass not normally associated with the traditional version of this work.

Soloists for this performance include

Soprano – Jennifer Weyman

Alto – Linda Hayes Bennett

Tenor – Michael John Butler

Bass – Bryan Jackson

This performance is Free and Open to the Public.

If the weather is bad, this performance will move indoors.  For the indoor performance attendees must be Masked and show proof of vaccination at the door.
