About the Author
Composer David Lang co-founded Bang on a Can (www.bangonacan.org) in New York City along with Michael Gordon and Julia Wolfe. Lang’s works have been performed by major ensembles in venues throughout North America and Europe. His work, The Little Match Girl Passion, won the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
