Part Time Executive Director Needed For Choral Arts Organization

Rogue Valley Chorale Association
Location:
Medford, Oregon
Type of Position:
Administrative
Application Deadline:
Sunday, November 15, 2020

The Rogue Valley Chorale Association (RVCA) was founded in 1973 by a group of local musicians who wanted to provide a forum for performing fine choral music. Since the Chorale’s debut performance in 1973 the organization has grown to include four choruses and over 300 singers ranging in age from eight to well over eighty.

RVCA is a resident company of the Medford, Oregon’s Collier Center for the Performing Arts and performs six seasonal concerts on its Craterian stage. Audience members enjoy a wide range of music from classical to contemporary, spirituals to Broadway, and Bach to the Beatles. Soloists, duets, small ensembles, and orchestration embellish concerts to create unforgettable musical experiences.

RVCA’s Youth Choruses reflect the organization’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of singers through choral participation and musical education. Our three youth choruses (Children’s Chorus, Cantare Chorus, Youth Ensemble) form a pathway toward life-long singing as our young singers advance from chorus to chorus, eventually arriving in our adult chorale.

The Rogue Valley Chorale is currently under the artistic direction of Michael Morris. He is well known for his exceptional musical ability and professionalism. Mr. Morris guides the Chorale with clear vision and artistic excellence to create memorable performances for singers and audience members.

RVCA is seeking an executive director to serve as a highly motivated, thoughtful and strategic leader who is passionate about the arts.
