Chorus America has launched a search process for a new president & CEO. Ann Meier Baker will leave the position to become director of music and opera at the National Endowment for the Arts in January 2015.

The board has named Mitch Menchaca—currently vice president of programs & COO—as Chorus America's Interim CEO, effective December 24, 2014.

“We are grateful to Ann Meier Baker for her invaluable contributions to Chorus America and the choral community during her 15 years of service,” said Chorus America’s board chair Rollo Dilworth. “With a legacy of strong leadership and dedicated staff, Chorus America is well positioned to move forward.”

A search committee comprised of Chorus America board and staff members will begin reviewing applications on December 19, and will continue this process until the position is filled. A full description is now posted on Chorus America’s website at chorusamerica.org/ChorusAmericaCEOsearch.
