VOLTI, possibly “the finest collection of chamber singers in the country” (SF Classical Voice), winds up a season that’s been filled with the excitement of discovery, exploring the nexus
between poetry and sound, the translation of inspiration to creation, as some of the best and brightest composers working today share their talents and insights on life and art in the 21st century.

Highlights will be premieres of two new works by Ken Ueno and Francisco Cortés-
Álvarez. Volti also repeats two commissions from past seasons, and welcomes the superb girls’ choir Ancora from Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir as guest artists. Robert Geary
conducts.
