Mark Shapiro conducted his inaugural concert of Handel's Messiah as the newly appointed Artistic Director of The St. Cecilia Chorus & Orchestra in Carnegie Hall, to a sold out audience on December 9, 2011.  His presentation of the Verdi Requiem on April 21, 2012 promises to be an exciting and memorable experience.
