An inspiring concert about generosity, peace, and joy, with music ranging from a Renaissance Mass to Shaker tunes and new works.

With this inspiring new program, we celebrate the highest qualities of which human beings are capable:  generosity, compassion, peace, and joy.  With the five movements of a Renaissance Mass as its structural foundation, the concert includes Gwyneth Walker’s new Songs of Ecstasy on texts by Thomas Merton, the Shaker tune Gentle Words, and the haunting Veni, Creator Spiritus by Ukrainian composer Oleh Harkavyy.  Our guest music director is William Chin, the accomplished assistant conductor of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and longtime music director of the Oriana Singers.
