The San Francisco Symphony Chorus will hold auditions for the 2012-13 season in May, 2012. For more information, email chorusauditions@sfsymphony.org.

San Francisco Symphony Chorus Director Ragnar Bohlin will hear auditions in May to fill openings in the SF Symphony Chorus for the 2012-13 season. There are limited AGMA and non-AGMA volunteer openings. For information and to sign up for an audition, please email chorusauditions@sfsymphony.org.
 
The 150-member Chorus, made up of 30 paid and 120 volunteer singers, has sung under the world's major conductors, including SFS Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT), SFS Conductor Laureate Herbert Blomstedt, Edo de Waart, Seiji Ozawa, Kurt Masur, Neville Marriner, Roger Norrington, Yuri Temirkanov, Wolfgang Sawallisch, and Robert Shaw.
 
The SFS Chorus's excellence has been recognized with five Grammy Awards. Most recently the San Francisco Symphony and Chorus garnered three Grammys for their recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 8, including for Best Choral Performance under the direction of Ragnar Bohlin.
