The Connecticut Choral Society, joined by the NJ Choral Society, a symphonic orchestra, and world-class soloists will be singing RalphVaughan Williams' "A Sea Symphony."

The CT Choral Society will be joining forces with the NJ Choral Society, world-class soloists, and a symphonic orchestra in a rare performance of "A Sea Symphony" - a work of power and grandeur. Ralph Vaughan Williams has set the poetry of Walt Whitman in a work that is at once a symphony and an oratorio, operatic in scope and theatricality - exquisite music that will inspire your dreams of the sea.

Featuring Jessica Rivera, soprano ("Vocally luminous" - The New York Times) and Mark Womack, baritone ("His voice, both its strength and its beauty, nearly knocked me off my chair." - Opera News).

Audience members will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive art exhibit ("Visions of the Sea") at 1 pm, followed by a pre-concert lecture (The Nautical Legacy of Ralph Vaughan Williams) at 2 pm, plus a post-concert reception.

Tickets: $25 Adults, $15 Youth (ages 18 and under), reserved seating
