CONDUCTING FELLOWS

A Cappella Conducting Masterclass

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONDUCTING FELLOWS
The Conducting Fellows program is designed for working professionals in the choral field, preferably holding a position with a chorus or orchestra.

Applicants must submit:
  • Completed application form
  • $35 non-refundable application fee; application fee does not apply to the actual cost of the Masterclass
  • Four copies of a Videotape or DVD of applicant conducting rehearsals/performances. Video Guidelines: chorusamerica.org/masterclass10/documents/video_guidelines.pdf
  • Letters of reference from two professional conductors
  • Deadline: Application must be received by October 26, 2009
  • Note: Fellow applicants must be at least 22 years of age

Submitting a complete application package (i.e., an application package containing all of the parts together: references, media, application form & fee) is encouraged as is early submission. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

A panel will select up to 18 Conducting Fellows and notify them in early November 2009. Conducting Fellows will be assigned selections from the Masterclass repertoire to prepare for January.
