Job title: Box Office and Operations Coordinator Chorus/organization name: Master Chorale of Washington, Inc. Category: Administrative Duties and responsibilities: Immediate Opening for a committed, energetic, personable colleague to be responsible for the box office and daily operations of the Master Chorale of Washington. The position requires strong organization and communication skills and great attention to detail. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and to foster and facilitate collaboration. He or she will need to work closely with the MCW staff and promote an open, inclusive environment emphasizing cooperation and teamwork. In addition, he or she must be comfortable in a fast-paced organization, bright, of highest integrity, possess sound judgment, have a good sense of humor and be dedicated to the cultural arts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Manage all aspects of the box office and audience services including processing of subscriptions by mail, phone, and online and group sales • Oversee annual subscription drive and coordinate subscriber benefits • Manage box office relationship with venue partners • General office management • Financial administration as primary contact for comptroller and in-office financial support including record maintenance • Other duties as assigned Requirements: Salary and minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, at least three years work experience (preferably in the arts), IT knowledge/skills including fluency in Microsoft Office suite and database experience, customer service experience mandatory, experience in ticketing helpful. Will include some nights and weekends. Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
